THE ORIGIN

From a Paris Workshop
to the World

In 1931, Jacques Schneider began his work in Paris, developing TSF devices at a time when the medium itself was still finding its place in the world. His younger brother Sacha joined him shortly after, and together they established what would become one of France's most enduring names in consumer electronics.

Their earliest creation, the Pygmée radio set, was among the first successful attempts to miniaturise a TSF station — a small object that carried significant ambition. From the beginning, Schneider's work was distinguished not merely by technical capability but by a commitment to aesthetics that set it apart from contemporaries.

By 1939, the Schneider workshop on Rue Daudin employed over two hundred people. The brand had already earned its place among the most important names in the French market.

OUR CONVICTION

The Principles That
Have Not Changed

Schneider has never been a brand that mistakes complexity for quality. Across nine decades, its position has remained consistent: that well-designed products, built to a rigorous standard, should be within reach of people who care about what they bring into their homes.

This is not a philosophy that requires restating with each new market or generation. It is demonstrated through the products themselves — in the materials chosen, the details resolved, and the performance delivered over time.

OUR BELIEF

Experience
Every Emotion

Schneider has always understood that the objects a person lives with are not neutral. A well-made appliance, designed with intention, changes the quality of a space. It changes the quality of time spent within it.

This is what the brand means by Experience Every Emotion. That the right product, in the right home, does more than perform. It becomes part of how life is felt.
